Irish soccer legend John Giles says Seamus Coleman never gets the credit he deserves.

Giles spoke out about the Killybegs man after comments about work rate from Everton boss Frank Lampard.

Speaking on Off The Ball Sports, Giles remarked that Coleman has been an exceptional player throughout his career.

“If you look at him, he’s probably one of the most honest players I’ve ever seen,” claimed Giles.

“I don’t think Seamus Coleman has ever got the credit he deserves, even when Everton was doing okay.”
