Work on Letterkenny’s four lane safety improvement project into the town will begin tomorrow (Thursday) and last more than a week.
Donegal County Council say they are doing all in their power to minimise disruption to traffic at this time.
The plan of this phase of construction is to to commence road construction/surfacing works of both outbound lanes.
The impacted area is from Polestar Roundabout to Dry Arch Roundabout.
Works will be carried out during day-time and night-time phases.
An amended Traffic Management arrangement will be in place during this time to accommodate the works while maintaining passing traffic.
Access to all residents and businesses will be maintained throughout the works
Donegal County Council has thanked motorists and the public for their co-operation in the delivery of this important project and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
The works are due to commence tomorrow (Thurs) and be completed by Friday, April 29th.
