Pramerica Systems Ireland Limited has been rebranded to PGIM Ireland Limited under a corporate expansion move.

The global asset management business is planning for expansion in the north west of Ireland this year alongside investment in new roles.

PGIM Ireland’s base in Letterkenny currently employs over 100 people. The ‘Pramerica Ireland’ entity remained in operation in Letterkenny after the Pramerica Systems Ireland subsidiary was bought by Tata Consultancy Services in 2020. More than 1,500 jobs transferred to TCS at the time of the deal.

From today, Pramerica Systems Ireland Limited will be known as PGIM Ireland Limited.

PGIM Ireland’s Letterkenny base serves as one of the EU offices for PGIM, Prudential and its affiliates, including PGIM Private Capital Ireland, PGIM Real Estate, PGIM Fixed Income, Corporate Treasury and Actuarial.

Roben Dunkin, vice president, PGIM Operations and Innovation, and executive sponsor for PGIM Ireland, commented: “This rebrand represents continued progress in establishing our corporate identity, allowing us to more closely align with PGIM’s values and culture, as we enter a new and exciting phase for our organisation in Letterkenny. We are expanding the business in the Northwest of Ireland, where there is a strong talent pool, and investing in new roles in 2022 and beyond.

“PGIM Ireland’s innovative spirit, collaborative culture, and dedication to excellence delivers business-critical services for PGIM’s global operations. With Ireland’s access to talent and the European markets, and with support from IDA Ireland and the strong regulatory environment, we have built incredible teams.”

With over US$1.5 trillion in assets under management and 38 offices spanning 17 countries, PGIM is among the world’s top 10 largest asset managers. It comprises five autonomous asset management businesses, each specialising in a particular asset class, with a focused investment approach. This includes expertise across both public and private markets, delivering investment solutions to intermediary and institutional investors globally.
