Donegal Ladies manager Maxi Curran knows Cavan will be well ready for his side in this Sunday’s Ulster semi-final in Clones.

While Donegal have had the busier schedule, winning the league semi-final and reaching the final, there were plenty of positives for Donegal but Maxi knows that Cavan will be well prepared and well rested.

“The satisfaction of knowing you can go toe to toe with the All-Ireland champions in Meath should give us a great boost going into the Championship.”

“Cavan have been sitting in the long grass waiting for us, they haven.t played for six or seven weeks so they’ll be well ready.

“They’ll have us well weighed up at this stage and we know we’re going into the lions den on Sunday.”
