Donegal Senior hurlers did what they had to do over in Solihull, Birmingham, this afternoon with a big win over Warwickshire.

Warwickshire 0-10

Donegal 0-33

The victory sets up a winner takes all game against Tyrone in Carrickmore next Saturday.

In fact, a draw will be enough to send Donegal through as they are currently one point ahead of Tyrone going into next week’s game, the final round of games.

The top two in the table advance to the Nicky Rackard Final in Croke Park.

Roscommon’s big win over Tyrone today 3-24 to 0-21 means they top the table on score difference from Donegal (+51 v +35) with Tyrone one point behind on (+22 ).

The Rossies travel to meet Fermanagh next week and will be strong favourites to win and move onto nine points to clinch a final spot.

This will leave Donegal and Tyrone to battle it out to see who will join them at headquarters.
