A man in his 60s has appeared in court charged with six counts of sexual assault of a female in Co Donegal.
The man is charged with sexually assaulting the woman at six unknown dates between January 1st, 2006 and December 31st, 2008.
The man is accused of touching both the female’s genitals and breasts.
The man only spoke to answer ‘guilty’ to all six charges put to him at Letterkenny Circuit Court today.
The court was told that the man has no previous convictions.
His barrister, Mr Gareth McCrory requested either a psychological or psychiatric report on his client before a final sentence was passed.
Judge John Aylmer agreed and also ordered a probation and welfare report on the accused.
The case was adjourned for the man to be sentenced during the October sitting of the circuit court.
