Bonagee United completed a historic cup treble on Tuesday night as they added the USL League Cup to their silverware haul for the season.
Having already won the North West of Ulster Intermediate Cup and the Knockalla Caravans Senior Cup, they faced the task of travelling to Monaghan United in order to add trophy number three to the tally for the season.
And they were quick to set the tone for the game when Micheál Doherty got the Donegal side ahead inside the first 10 minutes.
And they would hold on to that lead for the remainder of the first half but Monaghan replied quickly into the second half thanks to James Turley.
Doherty had his side ahead again as Deano Larkin played him in just after the hour mark but the lead would only last five minutes.
Jamie McCarey rose highest to head in a Monaghan free-kick and again it was all to play for.
But former Finn Harps man Tony McNamee got the last laugh, smashing the ball into the far corner for the final goal of the game which sealed victory for The Dry Arch Park side.
