Job Vacancies: Magee of Donegal, The Diamond, Donegal Town is recruiting Restaurant Assistants/Waiting Staff to join the team at The Weavers Loft Bistro.
Magee is a fifth generation Irish family business with over 150 years of experience in designing, weaving and tailoring cloth and clothing in Donegal. The Company operates across manufacturing, wholesale, retail and e-commerce.
We have a number of vacancies at the Weavers Loft Bistro, Magee of Donegal for full-time and part-time Restaurant Assistants/Waiting Staff.
Key responsibilities:-
- Serving customers, ensuring that all orders are taken correctly and that the food is served in an efficient, courteous and friendly manner.
- Assisting with food prep as required under the guidance of the Chef.
- Making teas, coffees etc and plating up the desserts.
- Regular cleaning of all areas of the dining area and kitchen area.
- Taking payments and cashing up at the end of the day.
Key requirements:-
- The ability to work as part of a team is essential as is the ability to anticipate a customer’s needs.
- Some experience in a similar environment would be an advantage but is not necessary.
Weekly hours are 37.5 for full-time and approx. 20 for part-time. There is a six-day rota, Monday to Saturday, so flexibility is vital.
