Kathryn McDevitt has had a terrific weekend at the World Masters Championships as she has won two gold medals in two days in Finland.
The Letterkenny AC athlete picked up her first gold in the W40 4x100m relay yesterday where she ran the second leg of the of the race for Ireland in the Ratina Stadium in Tampere.
Avril Dillon, Snezana Bechtina and Sinead O’Regan along with McDevitt ran a strong time of 48.80s to take the gold ahead of USA and Finland.
And McDevitt added to her gold tally this morning as she helped Ireland win another relay, this time the W40 4x400m relay.
Bechtina and O’Regan also featured in the team again, and they were joined by Annette Quaid as they finished with a time of 3:58.83 ahead of the USA and Finland once again, who were second and third respectively.
