Martin Harley has continued his July success as he won twice yesterday at Nottingham racecourse.
The Trentagh man is currently enjoying a 40% strike rate in the past two weeks, winning four of his last 10 races.
Harley had three rides in at the Midlands track, and won his first two, firstly on 10/11 favourite Thundershower.
The pair struck late to lead a furlong out in the one mile race, and just about held on from a rallying Nigwa in second place to win for John & Thady Gosden.
The following race, Harley won again for the Gosden’s on 9/4 shot Operating.
Despite getting boxed in near the closing stages, Harley switched Operating to the outside and flew home to win by 2 and 3/4 furlongs from Court Of Session to complete a double on the day.
