Lucy McGlynn has been named in the Irish team for the forthcoming World Athletics U20 championships to be held in Cali, Colombia.
Athletics Ireland named a team of eight athletes to compete at the championships which take place from August 1st to 6th.
400 metre hurdling specialist McGlynn, from Tir Chonaill AC, is coached by Eamon Harvey.
McGlynn is in great form having won both gold in the 100 metres hurdles and 400 metres hurdles at the National Junior and Under 23 Track and Field Championships in Tullamore at the weekend.
