Finn Harps have launched their annual Golf Classic for Sunday 21st August at Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club.
The Classic has been a common fundraiser for Finn Harps over the years which is vital for the clubs underage teams to help minimise travel expenses for away games.
Announcing the launch of the Finn Harps Golf Classic, Administrator of the Academy Aisling Dignam stated: “In these difficult times when travel and other costs were increasing substantially, it is even more important that fundraising events were supported so that costs could be minimised for all young players and their families involved.”
Miss Dignam also asks businesses in Donegal to support the event. Teams can be entered by contacting the clubhouse at the Golf Club on – 0749131093 and anyone wishing to sponsor a Tee at €50 euro should contact Aisling Dignam at admin@finnharpsacademy.com
James Rodgers, Chairman of Finn Harps Schools and Academy, commented: “The Annual Golf Classic has grown over the years. It has now become an integral part of fundraising for underage and we thank the Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club for hosting this event once again.”
Brendan Kelly, Captain of Ballybofey/Stranorlar Golf Club, stated thats the Golf Club were delighted to be hosting the Annual Golf Classic for the sole League of Ireland club in the County and wished it well with the Classic.
