A toddler is recovering after being attacked by a dog in Raphoe.
The incident happened on Wednesday when the two year old girl was bitten by the dog.
The dog at the centre of the incident is understood to belong to a family member.
The child received surgery in hospital but has since been discharged and is making a full recovery.
The little girl’s family have thanked all their neighbours and friends for their concern and say their child is “doing so well.”
