Oisin Orr claimed an impressive win in the British EBF Alice Keppel Fillies’ Conditions Stakes at the prestigious Glorious Goodwood festival on Wednesday.

Orr and Richard Fahey continued their growing successful partnership with a win on clear 5/6 favourite The Platinum Queen

The Rathmullan man led from start to finish in the five furlong race from stall eight, and backed up the favouritism for The Platinum Queen, quickening away from the rest of the field to win by four lengths over 11/2 shot Union Court and Richard Kingscote.

It’s a third win in four starts for the two year old filly, in which Orr has been on board for every race as they continue to turn heads with some quality performances.

It’s Orr’s only ride of the day and of the festival as he heads to Nottingham tomorrow with two rides.

Orr did however record a win on Monday in Ayr for Richard Fahey.

Orr won on 5/1 shot Sipahsalar in Scotland, winning by two lengths from Dream For Gold in the five furlong race.
