Mark English eases his way into 800m semis at European Championships

Donegal’s Mark English is safely through to tomorrow’s semi-final in the 800 metres at the European Championships.

The Finn Valley athlete ran a controlled race to finish first in his heat in a time of 1.47.54.

The Letterkenny man was first home and and made his vital move with 250 metres to go in the race.
