Healthy Food Made Easy Programme starts in the centre on Tuesday 13th September for 6 weeks @ 7pm to 9:30pm. This is a fun course where you will learn how to make healthy meals on a budget. Places limited, to book please contact the Centre on Tel: 074 9155055 or email: info@mevaghfrc.com
Senior Alert Scheme is available from Mevagh FRC. This is a personal monitored alarm for people aged 65+, of limited means. It enables older people to live securely and independently in their homes. Funded by Pobal. The installation and equipment is free and if you connect to a landline, the monitoring is free for the first year. Charges apply to alarms set up via GSM (sim card). Busy Bees Parent, Baby & Toddler group – This group is aimed at parents/carers and children 0-5 years old. We meet every Friday 10am – 12pm. €3 per family.

Women Career Breakers – Returning to work can be challenging – Are you a woman looking to return to the workplace? Have you taken time out of the workplace due to caring responsibilities or other commitments? Have you previously worked in IT or would like to start a career in IT? Digital Skillnet Ireland funds a free training programme for women looking to re-enter the workplace with secure employment after the course.
