Naomh Padraig GAA Club in Lifford are holding a pre-loved clothes sale on Saturday 24th September from 10.00am until 4.00pm.
All proceeds from the sale will go to Donegal Hospice and Community Inclusion Unit in Ballybofey.
This fundraising event is being organised by Naomh Padraig’s Healthy Club committee who are striving to make Naomh Padraig Lifford an accredited GAA Healthy Club.
Speaking about the fundraiser, Patricia McIntyre, Healthy Club Officer for Naomh Padraig Lifford said: “We are delighted to be able to hold this fundraiser to raise funds for two charities which are close to our club.
“Donegal Hospice is a wonderful service that has aided and helped many loved ones of families within our community and County, and Community Inclusion is a fantastic service which works with people who have intellectual disabilities or additional support needs by giving them the opportunity to choose the life they want to live and empowering them to do so.
“The response from the community so far has been amazing, and we have received so many donations of pre-loved women’s clothes including coats, dresses, tops, bottoms, accessories & shoes, all of which can be snapped up for a bargain on the day.
“There is also lots of pre-loved sportswear and club gear and a lot of books which will be on sale also.
“Due to the overwhelming response from the community, no more donations of clothes are required. We would like to thank anyone who kindly donated their pre-loved pieces.”
There will be a raffle for lots of fantastic prizes on the day also and refreshments will be served.
All proceeds will go to our two chosen charities. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. We very much look forward to welcoming you to our club in support of these two fantastic services.
