Donegal natives living across the world have been lighting candles to show their support of everyone involved in the Creeslough Tragedy.
The idea for lighting the candles in support came from Catriona Barker, who lives in Wales but is originally from Rathmullan.
Catriona said: “I came up the idea of sending a message to a few others from Donegal scattered around the world as we couldn’t attend the vigils and I really wanted to show the people of Creeslough, the emergency service, the priests, vicars & everyone affected by the tragedy that our thoughts were with them.
“We haven’t stopped thinking about them. I ask those friends if they would like to light a candle wherever they are and send it back to me so we would share our collage of candle pictures to show our thoughts are with them all.”
The pictures have been sent by friends living across the world, from Australia to the USA and Canada.
