Accounts Administrator
Our company is seeking a full-time Accounts Administrator. In addition to the requirements below, the candidate will also hold strong communication & numerical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong attention to detail.
Essential Requirements
- Full knowledge of Sage 50 Cloud Accounts and Brightpay.
- A minimum of 3 years industry/practice experience in a busy accounting environment
- Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting processes
- Strong computer and Microsoft Excel skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
Tasks will include but not limited to:
- Raising of purchase/sales orders and invoicing through Sage 50 financial accountant package, via multiple currencies
- Processing and paying supplier invoices in line with payment terms and credit control function
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Liaising with and preparing files for accountant
- Monthly Journal entry processing, review and approval
- Support data integrity and preparation of financial information to ensure confidentiality, completeness, accuracy, timeliness and accessibility of financial information
- Strong knowledge of VAT, including preparation and file VAT Returns in Ireland and Northern Ireland
- Processing payroll for employees in Ireland and Northern Ireland
- Prepare and file Intrastat Returns in Ireland and Northern Ireland
- Prepare projections, perform variance analysis as and when required
- Perform ad hoc and special project assignments, as required

Financial Controller
Our company is seeking a full-time Financial Controller. In addition to the requirements below, the candidate will also hold strong communication & numerical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong attention to detail.
Essential Requirements:
- Full knowledge of Sage 50 Cloud Accounts and Brightpay
- A minimum of 3-5 years industry/practice experience in a similar environment
- Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting processes in Ireland and the UK
- Strong computer and Microsoft Excel skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills
Tasks will include but not limited to:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and associated reports.
- Produce financial analysis; actual V’s budget, monthly analysis of current V’s prior and year-to-date comparisons.
- Conduct cash-flow forecasts for internal review.
- Conduct an analysis on inventory movements.
- Compile reports of weekly / monthly sales for all departments of the business
- Develop budgets for departments.
- Checks trial balances for abnormalities and reconcile as necessary.
- Administer company payroll.
- Arrange and ensure payment of creditors.
- Ensure that invoicing and payment reconciliations are up to date.
- Liaise with company auditors as necessary.
- File/Sort/Enter all Purchase Invoices.
- Recommend ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecasting process.
- Prepare financial statements and produces budget according to schedule.
- Prepare VAT and PAYE returns by deadline dates.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close process.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Liaise with Directors to improve financial procedures
- Work effectively with management and staff.
- Adhere to all company rules and policies at all times.
- Carry out any other duties as requested by directors.
