A unique sea–based charity opens its ‘Liquid through the Lens’ exhibition in Bundoran later this week.

This week-long display tells the different stories of Liquid Therapy’s work through the eyes of multi award winning photographer Darragh Gorman.

The multi-award winning ‘Liquid Therapy’ is based in Rossnowlagh and provides a supported environment that enables young people to experience the physical and therapeutic benefits of the surf and ocean.

Programmes include wheelchair surfing and other accessible activities.

One of the images from the exhibition.

From the volunteer to the surfer, the families to the community groups, this beautiful series of images captures the magic and moments in the ocean.

It also tells of the impact one social enterprise has had in its local and broader community.

This exhibition is a part of the ARISE campaign, facilitated by the Dormant Accounts Fund, whose objective is to promote the importance of the work social enterprises do across the country.

The exhibition can also be viewed on Liquid Therapy’s website www.liquidtherapy.ie from Friday, November 4, or in Buoys and Gulls design and coffee shop in Bundoran.
