All it took was a little push from a famous face – albeit one of the most famous faces on the planet.
Donegal fashion brand Triona Designs and the famous Donegal tweed has been propelled onto the international fashion map after style icon Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted wearing one of their coats.
SJP, aka Carrie Bradshaw, stepped out in a Triona Design coat in New York City this week while filming the second series of the Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That…
And just a couple of days and a skyscraper full of headlines later, Triona’s ‘Faye’ double-breasted mac has sold out!
Emma Quinn from Triona said the reaction and the sales have been amazing.
She said “We have had such an overwhelming reaction to the news of Sarah wearing our Faye Coat during filming in New York City with the coat now sold out in most sizes.
“The support from fellow Irish brands and our customers has been so positive and we are so proud to be highlighted amongst some of the biggest fashion brands in the world.
