Roisin Flanagan set a new Donegal 5k road record on Saturday in the SugarRun 5k in Tennessee.
The Finn Valley athlete clocked a time of 15:42.8 to come fourth in the race in Germanstown.
The Gortin woman was just two seconds ahead of her twin sister Eilish, who finished fifth in 15:44.7.
Roisin was 14th in the 5,000m final at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich in August.
