Gardaí are investigating a case of criminal damage in Letterkenny town centre last week.

The window of a car was smashed while it was parked on Doherty’s Lane.

It’s not believed that entry was gained to the car.

Gardaí are treating the incident as an “act of wanton vandalism by all accounts” and they are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crime to report to local gardaí.

The car was damaged sometime between 4pm on Wednesday 16th November and 10am on Sunday 20th November.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100.
