Former Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan has been linked with a role at Galway United.

The Letterkenny-based teacher is understood to have been approached for the assistant-manager’s role to manager John Caulfield.

Caulfield has been the manager of Galway United F.C. since August 2020 and is close friends with Horgan.

Horgan is originally from Galway and spends a lot of his free time there visiting family.

It is understood Galway approached Horgan to assist them in boosting their squad in the closed season but that a more permanent move may be on the cards.
