Burt reached the U21 C Championship final after a comfortable win over Naomh Ultan in Glenfin.

Burt 2-11 Naomh Ultan 0-3

Burt took a comfortable lead going into the first half, preventing their opposition from scoring a single point, while racking up 0-9 themselves.

Opening points came from Shayne Gallagher and Liam Óg McKinney, while Keith McColgan got five of those first half points, three coming from frees.

Conor Gartland pointed twice also, as the game looked over by the half-time whistle, 0-9 to 0-0.

Luke Gallagher got Naomh Ultan on the scoreboard after the restart from a free, but McColgan hit back with a free of his own.

Gallagher again pointed but Burt fired themselves to a certain win as Shayne Gallagher scored two goals in a couple of minutes.

The scoring eased as both sides only hit a point each in the final 10, with Gartland getting his second for Burt and Naomh Ultan’s third and final point came from Kyle Breslin.

Burt will take on the winner’s of the other semi-final between Naomh Muire Convoy and Red Hughs, which was due to take place tonight at the Centre of Excellence in Convoy but has been postponed due to the weather.
