Glenswilly Under-21 player Kealan Dunleavy spoke after his sides controlled performance to win their semi-final against Malin in Burt.
Glenswilly came out comfortable winners at Hibernian Park, going into the half-time break 2-7 to 0-2 ahead, and Dunleavy was surprised at how comfortably they got the lead.
Dunleavy said: “We didn’t think it was gonna be what it was, we know it’s gonna be hard games and we know in the final, whether it’s Glenfin or Ballyshannon it’s going to be a tight game.
“Goals win games and the early goals were a big one, but we knew ourselves it wasn’t over.”
Dunleavy added that the sides strength in depth is key to their run, with a strong bench to call on when needed.
“The bench is a big one for us, there’s boys on the bench starting for minors, it’s hard for Aidy to be picking teams in there.”
