A voluntary community organisation has said it is outraged after Christmas decorations were vandalised outside their premises.
Wires were cut off blow-up decorations outside the Manorcunningham Resource Centre and then discarded up the street.
A spokesperson said they are disgusted by the attack on Saturday night.
They said “To say we are disgusted and angry is an understatement.
“Last night someone decided to vandalise the Christmas decorations outside the Resource Centre.
“They cut the electric wire off one of our blow-up decorations and then discarded it up the street.
“As most of you are aware we are a completely voluntary organisation that works hard and gives freely of our own time to run the centre for the people of the community.
“Every year we have been trying to add to our outside decorations and to think that someone would just come along and do this random act of vandalism and destroy one of our new decorations is just heart-breaking.
“We are so angry.”
