A person has been hospitalised following a crash on the dual carriageway outside Letterkenny.
The two vehicle road traffic collision occurred at approximately 6:30am this Christmas Eve morning.
The road was closed for a period as emergency services attended the scene.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
