It will be a frosty start to the New Year with Donegal County Council set to grit roads across the county tomorrow morning.
All primary routes will be gritted from 7am tomorrow morning (Sun) as temperatures plunge overnight.
A smaller select number of routes will be gritted from 5pm this afternoon.
Gardai have appealed to motorists to take it easy on roads if returning from visiting people in light of the plunging temperatures.
