Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating a spate of car thefts in the town in recent weeks.
It follows another THREE incidents in the town in recent days.
Before the Christmas period a number of vehicles were stolen with a number being later burned out.
In recent days there have been another series of incidents.
On December 26th, a Toyota Vitz car was taken from Solomon’s Court and later found burned out in the Kirkstown area of the town.
Tow days later on December 28th a white Mazda car was found on its roof at Killyclug having earlier been stolen from outside the owner’s home at Chestnut Grove.
Just days before Christmas on December 21st there was criminal damage caused to a car at Sliabh Sneacht road when the ignition and car door of a car was damaged in what is believed to have been another attempted robbery.
The recent thefts come follow a series of similar incidents in the town in the run-up to Christmas.
Gardfai believe many of the incidents are connected and are working to identify suspects.
