Oisin Orr took his first win of 2023 at Newcastle Racecourse on Wednesday.

The Rathmullan man was in action for the first time this year with two rides in the North East of England for the meeting.

Orr took the win on 9/2 shot Dyed In The Wool for trainer Richard Fahey, who he is stable jockey for.

Orr won on the three-year-old by a length and a quarter from Vampire Slayer and Jason Hart.

Orr moved to England in June to become stable jockey for the Irish trainer, taking over from Paul Hanagan.
