A man who was driving in the dark in an erratic manner has been put off the road for three years.
Kyle Black appeared at Letterkenny District Court after Gardai caught him driving with no lights at Tank Road, Ramelton on August 14th, 2022.
Gardai followed Black and witnessed him driving in an erratic manner before stopping him at St Mary’s Terrace at 2.44am.
He was taken to Milford garda Station where he later failed an alcohol breath test.
The court was told that the 28-year-old from Croughan, Ramelton, had no previous convictions.
His solicitor, Mr Frank Dorrian, said his client work sin a cafe and also pays rent and that his disqualification from driving will have a serious affect on his ability to earn a wage.
Judge Eiteain Cunningham fined Black €250 and also disqualified him from driving for three years.
