Two 17-year-olds from Quigley’s Point Karate Club, Aine McCole and Caolan Caulfield, have received their black belts.
Ulster Karate Federation students Aine and Caolan achieved the grade of 1st Dan black belt in the traditional Wado Ryu style of karate.
The pair are both qualified karate coaches, and are looking forward to competing for medals along with their UKF team mates in the World Union of Karate Federations Championship, which will be held in Dundee this summer, as well as a number of other high profile international tournaments.
