Motorists are being urged to take extreme care this Tuesday morning due to hazardous road conditions in the county.
Heavy snow and ice overnight are making many local roads impassable.
Inishowen, Letterkenny, Raphoe, Milford and Gweedore are particularly impacted.
Donegal County Council gritters have been in action on main routes from 5am, however motorists should assume no road is ice-free.
A status yellow snow/ice warning remains in place for Donegal until 12noon today.
