Finn Harps’ first outing under new manager Dave Rogers ended in a scoreless draw against Dundalk tonight.
Harps used the game to give a number of trialists a chance to show what they had to offer.
Some of the better-known names who started included Keith Cowan in his first game back and as club captain.
New goalkeeper Tim-Oliver Hiemer started in nets while there were also run-outs for Michael Harris, Seamus Keogh and Ryan Rainey.
Harps wore black armbands in respect of club member Ronan Roddy who passed away earlier this week.
Rogers is expected to give a number of other new names a run-out when Harps face Derry City in another pre-season friendly this Sunday in the Brandywell.
