Cockhill Celtic march on to the last eight of the FAI Intermediate Cup with a 3-2 win over Avondale United in extra-time.
Cockhill took the lead twice in normal time but were quickly pegged back by their opponents on both occasions.
But an Adam Duffy strike in the second half of extra-time gave them the win, with Avondale unable to find an equaliser for the third time.
Lee McColgan gave Gavin Cullen’s side the lead on 15 minutes but Matthew McKevitt hit back for the successful Cork side.
Cockhill were on top in the second half and retook the lead with 10 minutes to go through but an instant reply from substitute Jonah Obode made it 2-2.
But former Finn Harps man Adam Duffy got the winner in the second half of extra-time to fire the Cockhill side to victory.
Avondale are the most successful club in the competition’s history, winning it eight times, including four times in a row from 2011 to 2014.
