Sad passing of former Glenfin Postmaster, Sean Marley

The death has taken place of well-known former Glenfin Postmaster and businessman, Sean Marley.

He passed away peacefully yesterday at his home in Cloghanbeg, Cloghan, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by wife Ethna, Sean is survived by his sons Joe, Tommy, Gerry, Brendan, John, Michael, Aidan and daughter Martina. 

He also leaves behind his sister, Annie, as well as 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

His remains will repose at his late residence today, Friday, from 12 o’clock. Requiem Mass will take place Sunday 5th, at 11am, in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Glenfin with interment afterwards in Kilteevogue Cemetery.

Rosary will take place on both nights at 9pm. Family time from 10pm until 12 noon and on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only.
