Residents of a house in the Lifford area had a lucky escape when it was targeted in an arson attack.
The terrifying incident happened in the St Jude’s Court area at approximately 12.45am in the early hours of Wednesday last, February 8th.
The drama began when a car in the driveway of the house was set alight.
However, the fire soon spread to the roof of the adjoining house and considerable damage was caused.
Gardai are hunting for two males who were spotted in the area just before the incident happened.
Garda Sean Sweeney has appealed fro anybody who may have dashcam of doorbell video footage of the incident or anybody acting suspiciously in the area to contact them.
