Some of Donegal’s very best musicians took to the stage of Amharclann Ghaoth Dobhair last night to celebrate RnaG50 – 50 years of RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta.

The gala concert was headlined by Altan, Clann Mhic Ruairí, Maighréad and Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill, Na Mooneys, Moya Brennan and Belfast reggae band Bréag. The full line up included no less than fifty musicians and spoken word artists.

The night was held to celebrate the RnaG’s rich history, and to thank the listeners and the many people who had contributed to the station’s success since 1972.
