Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan wrapped up for a wintry beach walk to celebrate wrapping up his latest film shoot in Donegal.

Mr Brosnan and his wife Keely took time out to walk Mullaghderg Beach in the Rosses at the weekend to mark the end of filming “The Four Letters Of Love”.

Pierce shared two scenic snaps with his 4.8million Facebook followers, saying: “Down the wild Atlantic way, Donegal. We have had the most memorable of times in the company of all while making the movie of the book, “Four Letters of Love” by Niall Williams.”

He captioned another photo with Keely to say: “And that’s a wrap! Mullaghderg Beach along the wild Atlantic way. The luck of the Irish was with us as the sun shone upon us during the filming of “The Four Letters of Love.””

Pierce Brosnan and his co-stars, Gabriel Byrne and Helena Bonham Carter have been popping up all over Donegal over the past fortnight as they filmed scenes for the new Irish romantic drama, based on Niall Williams’ international bestselling novel.

Glenveagh National Park, Dunfanaghy, Doochary, Portnoo and Dunlewey have all enjoyed a slice of the film action.

Local businesses have also gained a boost from the celebrity visitors. On his breaks from filming, Mr Brosnan was spotted in Donegal Town, Ardara and Downings visiting local shops, cafes and bars meeting locals and picking up some stylish Donegal Tweed clothing.
