West Donegal actor, Keith Gallagher, is among the star studded cast in Liam Neeson’s 100th film – Marlowe.

The Dungloe man (main pic) appears alongside the Ballymena legend and Diane Kruger and bookends the cast list as office clerk in the Neil Jordan directed motion picture.

Gallagher has previously appeared in films and dramas such as RTÉ’s Kin and television commercials including Budweiser.

He has also stage managed on numerous shows, including US game shows Beat Shazam hosted by Jamie Foxx and Celebrity Name That Tune hosted by Jane Krakowski and Randy Jackson.

For Neeson, Marlowe marks an extraordinary milestone in this his 100th film, joining forces again with director Jordan (Michael Collins, The Butcher Boy and Interview with the Vampire).

Marlowe, a gripping noir crime thriller set in late 1930’s Bay City California, focuses on a brooding, down on his luck detective; Philip Marlowe (Neeson), who is hired to find the ex-lover of a glamorous heiress (Kruger), daughter of a well-known movie star (Jessica Lange). The disappearance is the first twist in a series of bewildering events, and soon Marlowe is embroiled in a deadly investigation and web of lies that he’s determined to bring to light.

Marlowe was released to Irish cinemas, as well as Sky Cinema, on St. Patrick’s Day.
