Donegal house prices have risen a further 3.4% in the first quarter of 2023, new figures reveal.
The average house price in Donegal is now €150,000, up €17,500 in the last year.
Donegal continues to have the cheapest homes in the country, with Cavan and Longford following after.
The Real Estate Alliance (REA)/Irish Independent Average House Price Index identified a worsening supply of homes nationwide in 2023.
In Donegal, the demand continues to come from buyers in Northern Ireland looking for holiday homes as well as a strong local market, according to Roger McCarrick of REA McCarrick in Bundoran.
