This week’s Dunkineely/Bruckless/Killaghtee community notes are out.

Killaghtee Festival

An open meeting will be held at 7:30pm, 26 th April, in MacLaughlin’s Lounge, Dunkineely.

With the Dunkineely Parade over we are now looking forward to the Killaghtee Festival 2023.

We are having an open meeting for local residents and fans to put forward their ideas on what we should do at the festival. Because of last year’s success we will once again be keeping it ‘unique’ by combining local heritage (history and nature), wellbeing and art.

If you want to go that step further and volunteer for the Festival Committee, contact us at dunkineelycommunity@gmail.com

Darts

Congratulations to the MacLaughlin’s darts team on making the Donegal town district league Cup final.

The final takes place on Friday 14th April at the Bay Bush Bar on the stage.

A bus will be leaving MacLaughlin’s Bar at 8pm. There are not many seats left, so let the pub know if you are interested in heading up to support the lads.

All the best to the team: James Byrne, Kenneth Kennedy, Irwin Muirhead, David Gallagher, Hugh Doherty, Colin Doherty, Thomas Wolfie Milsop, Liam Donegan, Chippy Dica/Adrian Byrne.
