US Ambassador to Ireland, Claire Cronin is to speak about her Donegal roots on Friday’s Late Late Show.
Ambassador Cronin’s grandfather Hugh McLaughlin was born in Carrowmenagh near Moville.
She will speak about her Irish roots, how a chance meeting with Mr Biden on a flight lead her to being offered the Ambassador role, and the excitement that surrounds the US President’s visit.
Bertie Ahern, Aoife Moore, Nicholas Trimble, Brian Kennedy and Bryan Cooper are among the other Good Friday guests on this week’s show.
To mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement Ryan Tubridy will be joined live in studio by former taoiseach Bertie Ahern, who will share his memories of the historic day.
