Bright start but some heavy downpours later – Met Éireann

It will be a mainly bright start to the morning in the north west with a few heavy showers in the west.

Turning cloudier with rain spreading northwards across Ulster around midday. There will be heavy downpours in places during the evening. Becoming blustery with southerly winds increasing fresh to strong and gusty this afternoon, veering west this evening. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees.

It will be blustery tonight with fresh southwest winds, but possibly very windy early tonight in the northeast. Rain at first tonight will clear with clear spells developing in many areas. Heavy showers will also develop. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 3 degrees.
