A pedestrian was brought to Letterkenny University Hospital following a traffic collision in the town last Thursday.
Gardaí are appealing for information from the public following the incident which occurred shortly before 6.50pm last Thursday 6th April.
The incident between a pedestrian and a car took place on the Ballyraine road outside the Ballyraine National School.
Gardaí attended the scene and spoke to both parties involved before the injured pedestrian was brought to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí are today appealing to anybody who travelled the road and witnessed the incident, or to anybody who had a dashcam in the area at the time, to contact gardaí in Letterkenny on 0749767100.
