The people of Glenswilly, Tullygay, Bomany, Conwal, Newmills and surrounding areas will be giving their homeplace a great spring clean tomorrow, Friday 14th April.

Many hands made light work, and everyone is asked to get involved and make a real impact.

The annual community clean up kicks off from 6pm, with resources available from 5.30pm at Glenswilly GAA Pitch.

Cllr Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly is looking forward to supporting volunteers and making the day a big success.

He said: “I’ll be at Glenswilly GAA pitch from 5.30pm – 6pm this Friday evening the 14th with bags, litter pickers, gloves and vest should anyone need anything.

“If people do their own areas it may be easier.

“I will also have someone going around with a van and trailer around 8pm so if everyone wants to leave the black bags along the road where they can be seen I’ll have them lifted.

“There will be a skip at Glenswilly GAA Grounds should you want to dispose of your bags yourself.

“I look forward to seeing a great crowd this Friday the 14th from 6pm onwards for the Annual Community Clean Up.

“Should you require any further information give me a call – 0866666490.”
