A piece of musical history returns to Glenveagh Castle

A piece of musical history has returned to Glenveagh Castle to be put on display.

Members of Ramelton’s Presbyterian Church have kindly donated back Henry McIlhinney’s mini grand piano to Glenveagh Castle.

The piano left Glenveagh after spending 40 years at the Ramelton church.

The church was the setting for Mr McIlhinney’s grandparents’ wedding.

Members of the Ramelton Presbyterian Church kindly brought the piano back to the castle where it will be on display in the music room.

Another excuse to book a tour of the castle this summer.
