A young man remains in hospital following a serious assault in Glencolmcille at the weekend.
The incident happened at around 9.30pm on Sunday night outside a pub in the village of Cashel.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital where he remains for treatment for his injuries.
One man, also in his 20s, was arrested. However, Gardaí are seeking witnesses and anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
