Huge Bank Holiday weekend in store for Finn Harps

It could be a bumper Bank Holiday weekend for resurgent Finn Harps with two vital home games.

Dave Rogers’ young side face Longford Town at Finn Park on Friday night, closely followed by Athlone Town at the same venue on Monday.

Despite a hammering to Waterford, the Finn siders now find themselves with just one defeat in eight, and two victories on the bounce, including last weekend’s massive away victory in Wexford.

Harps currently lie in joint sixth place, level on 13 points with Monday night’s opponents Athlone, while they are six ahead of eighth place Longord.

Despite being relegated from the top tier last season, Finn Park has seen an increase in average home attendances this year to 1,575, one of the best in the division.

No doubt the Finn Harps faithful will be turning out in huge numbers this weekend again.

Tickets for both games are now on sale at https://finnharps.ie/tickets/
